Hi, I’m Amanda!

I grew up in Torquay (Devon) but spent a few years chasing city life before returning in 2016 with my husband. We love being so close to the coast — the English Riviera is our happy place!

I’ve always loved being creative and finding little ways to brighten people’s days. After ten years of teaching alongside setting up a preschool storytelling business and then running a B&B in Torquay, I wanted to take that love of adventure and creativity further...

That’s how Snapshot Trips came about: a way to share the hidden corners, stories and surprises of our favourite places with others—through guided and self-guided adventures full of hidden gems and unexpected discoveries and stories.

So, when I’m not admin-ing, trying to tweak the website, testing new trip ideas, or giving tours, you’ll find me exploring rockpools, paddleboarding or tackling DIY in our five-storey Victorian B&B! Current challenge: mastering the art of plastering!
